Start your autumn off with a trip to the Blythewood Kudzu Festival Country Store. 

The Kudzu Country Store offers a variety of tasty delights as well as plants, books, face painting and T-shirts. It just isn't early autumn until you've had your first kudzu shortcake. The Blythewood Kudzu Garden Club will help serve approximately 11,000 of these delicious treats using shortcakes and over 3500 pounds of kudzu prepared by the local church groups and Lions Club. 

Other treats include the terrific kudzu-ade shake-ups, ice cream and, of course, kudzu popcorn. No one leaves the Kudzu Country Store hungry. If you need something to eat for later or to take home, check out the Kudzu Bakery for those delicious kudzu treats that you never have time to bake.

The Blythewood Kudzu Garden Club will have its display of kudzu. You can pick up something new for your own garden and get lots of expert advice. If you enjoy summer reading, browse through the large selection at the Kudzu Book Fair. Be sure to stop by the Blythewood Alumni Association table to help update your address list and locate any classmates with whom you may have lost touch.
